WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Citizens in need of vehicle registration and title services no longer need to leave the Winter Haven area for these essential services, thanks to a partnership between the Office of the Tax Collector for Polk County (TCPC) and Express Auto Tags of Winter Haven! This private tag agency’s new location is now open, and replaces the American Legion Tag Agency which formerly closed at 300 Avenue M NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881.
The tax collector’s goal is to provide the best customer experience possible in a convenient and efficient manner. People can visit this new location, which replaces the former American Legion Tag Agency which closed last summer, both by appointment and on a walk-in basis.
“We know this can bring a real sigh of relief for people in Winter Haven who now don’t have to travel for a task like a vehicle title transfer,” Tax Collector Joe G. Tedder says.
Roughly 2,000 people are seen in a single day across the Tax Collector’s current service center locations; by joining in the work to meet the growing demand for vehicle tag and title transactions in Polk County, Express Auto Tags of Winter Haven will have a positive impact on customers’ experiences with wait times across all tax collector locations.
“It’s going to ultimately cause shorter wait times for customers,” Tedder adds, “and is such a cost-effective way to provide additional capacity for services.”
Express Auto Tags of Winter Haven offers regular business hours Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., plus extended hours on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Customers can schedule an appointment by visiting www.autotagagency.net or by calling (863) 293-5551.
