Polk County Tax Collector’s Office Will Be Closed to Customers for Presidents’ Day

BARTOW, Fla. – All five of the Polk County Tax Collector’s service centers and call center will be closed to customers on Monday, February 17, 2025. On this Presidents’ Day, Tax Collector staff will be off-site in a valuable training session. All Tax Collector locations will resume their regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Tuesday, February 18.

The Tax Collector’s private tag agency partners First Lakeland Tag Agency and Express Auto Tags of Winter Haven will be open for their regular business hours during this time, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Any Polk County residents who need vehicle title services or to renew their vehicle registrations can do so by visiting one of these tag agencies, or they can renew their vehicle registrations using the KIOSK service located at the Grove Park Publix store in Lakeland.
