Description Summary

Direct enforcement efforts related to delinquent tourist development tax accounts, tangible personal property tax accounts, county local business tax accounts and mobile home registrations. Ensure the interest of the Tax Collector's Office is protected in bankruptcy cases. Represent the Tax Collector in cases concerning the collection of current and delinquent taxes. Performs investigations related to specified tax accounts determining if the Tax Collector should pursue criminal and/or civil charges. Monitors subject criminal and/or civil cases for the Tax Collector. Represent the Tax Collector's delinquent collections efforts in a courteous and professional manner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Law school graduate that has been admitted to the Florida Bar.

Salary Range: $46,501 - $69,733 (Annual)
