Emergency Contact Information


The State of Florida's Emergency Contact Information Program allows Florida driver license and identification card holders to voluntarily register their emergency contacts. The information is stored in a secure protected database and can be accessed only by law enforcement officers to find designated contacts in the event you are involved in a crash or other emergency situation. Registering your information may save crucial time if it becomes necessary to contact family members or loved ones.

Floridians can register the current telephone number and residential address for up to two emergency contacts, at no cost, at a State of Florida or Tax Collector operated driver license office.
